The Templins: Room addition in Clairemont
The Templins are long-time Ritz customers. Over 10 years ago we completed a front addition and they were very satisfied. Fast forward a decade and they came back for more outstanding service.
Ritz Design Build opened up the kitchen by taking out the support wall. We engineered the project so the surrounding walls could support the roof. The kitchen and family room now form a backdrop for the many gatherings the Templins host. When it’s football season, friends and family come over to watch the game. Naturally, the large screen is visible from almost every point in the family room and kitchen area, so die hard sports fans don’t miss a moment of the action!
The living style of today’s family is rapidly changing, from generations before us. The needs and desires of today’s modern family have evolved from a space to complete homework & watch TV, to allowing space for multi-generation families to comfortably live together. The days of the massive home entertainment center are over. We can integrate the flat screen on the wall, tuck the components in a sleek cabinet, and hang the speakers. By incorporating your entertainment solution into the remodel, we place all the wiring in, during the construction phrase while the walls are still open, saving time, headaches, and resulting in a beautiful space!

3D: Know before you build
Our design process is very thoughtful and comprehensive. Our team will visit your home and ask what you are expecting out of your addition. If you’re like most of us, your want list is probably more than you can afford. Fear not, this is where Ritz Design Build really shines. We’ll help figure out how to get the most bang for your dollar. Then our designer will get to work and render his designs in digital 3D models. You’ll literally get a feeling of the flow of the floorplan and can see how furniture and windows fit into the design. You can see what’s working and what’s not and give us your feedback.
