Many of the original homes in Bay Park are small in size, and eventually, most are added on to. Ritz Design Build was called to build a second story over a detached garage in Bay Park.
We have the experience of adding second stories to dozens of garages. We go out of our way to avoid the box-on-top-of-a-box that characterizes many of these additions that take place with little consideration for design. The homeowners also took advantage of the time to expand their front entrance and expand their interior entertaining areas. A new set of stairs was brought inside the house. Our favorite part of the project was an observation deck built on top of the new second story. The views are fantastic and will be a premier spot to watch all of the fireworks spectaculars on the 4th of July, as well as the nightly fireworks show during the summer at Sea World.
